The Light Fantastic

On duty at Longshaw today. It was bitterly cold, but there was some wonderful light. This photo was taken at about 3pm. About 15 minutes later, it had started to snow quite heavily, and as I have 3 steep-sided valleys to cross to get home, I didn't hang around. In my extras today I've posted one of Carl Wark and Higger Tor, which must be one of the most photographed views in the Peak District. It merited another shot though  (at about 2pm) as the light was so nice. The third shot was taken much earlier when I went down to Burbage Brook to check a Family Trail which is being prepared for half term. The snow was quite dramatic as I drove home, but ultimately doesn't seem to have settled.
