Basketball season

We went to Niklas’ 2 games today…the first is a more casual park department team which was playing in a great park complex along Lake Washington so we went early for a good walk with different scenery first—nippy and windy, but dry. (the extra is the boat launch at the park)    The second was his middle school team, of mostly 7th graders. I had sort of forgotten how hard it is to get a decent shot—the gym is dark, the ISO is way too high, the backgrounds are too busy, the motion is very fast.  I took zillions and deleted zillions.   Had to pick SOMETHING so I chose this one to show the coach (white shirt) and some of his teammates on the bench —(it’s a big team), AND those feet off the floor and the baggy pants (Nik says they are so big he can’t dribble between his legs!)   I do like watching basketball, and particularly when Nik’s Dad can make it to the game—he was a really good player in HS , on a state championship team, and his son is built just the same.
