Harkland Da Vinci - Offshore Support Vessel

We were lulled into thinking the storms had passed us by yesterday - it had been a day without wind - but today we had Storm Henry upon us. Determined not to be confined to barracks for any longer I went down to the Harbour to suss out some interesting boats to blip. The most outstanding was the Harkland Da Vinci which arrived in Montrose Harbour early this morning and here she is at 3 pm still unloading her containers. She fllies under the flag of the Marshall Islands which is located near the equator in the Pacific.  The president of the Marshall Island is Hilda Cathy Heine (born April 6, 1951) a Marshallese educator and politician, currently serving as the 8th President of the Marshall Islands, the first woman to hold the office. Prior to assuming office, she served as the Minister of Education. She was the first individual on the Marshall Islands to earn a doctorate degree, and the founder of the women's rights group Women United Together Marshall Islands. Sounds like a lady to look out for!  Came home about 3.30 pm and everyone had their headlights on, so you can imagine how dark and dull it has been most of the day. There was some sun, but she might as well not have bothered to show her face so short was her stay!.  Have a nice evening, everybody:)
