The Tide Was Well Out

6.5C with sunny spells and some cloud. Light breeze.

Easier tidying this morning. I sorted out our DVDs and put some in plastic crates and stored them neatly in the cupboard under the stairs. The others I arranged in the cabinet beside the HiFi system in the dining room.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Amazing Things and Mara). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was good to walk on today. A few strips have been ploughed at the top of one of the fields at the side of the track.

We walked along the cycle path and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach at Westhaven. The tide was well out. I sat on one of the benches by the back of the beach switched the Nano over to Mara and stayed for a few minutes since it was so bright. The light seems to have changed now we are into February. If only it could stay like this for even a few days !

We we crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. When we got home I got some secateurs and trimmed some cotoneaster and dogwoods back to make sure they aren't near the flue for the gas fire in our living room.

Note: Too good a day not to add an extra ...
