Marching Along

They are doing some major repairs on the wharf that necessitate directing traffic away from a giant hole in the pavement. Alas, the hole wasn't as interesting as this row of cones glowing in the early morning light. The water pipe servicing all the businesses on the pier was severely damaged during a recent storm and must be replaced. A temporary water line runs aboveground along the sidewalk on the right. It seems to be business as usual while they're straightening things out. Good thing it's not the summer with all the extra traffic.
