Giant Puffball

Another trip to Doncaster today. Whilst there I took advantage of the lovely sunny weather and took the dogs out for walks - and came across loads of these giant puffball fungi which have 'matured' and now look like big sponge footballs!

I liked the way the sun was shining across the surface and showing up the texture. Also nice to have a bit of blue sky about , so I got down quite low to shoot this angle to include some sky!.
