He Won't Hurt You...

...he just wants to blip you.

Cynthia and I went to see Erick and Allison's Legacy Hereford herd this evening -- about fifty animals, including calves. Of course, the calves were the primary attraction --they're only two to four weeks old and very cute. They're not used to being around humans yet, but when I got down on the ground they slowly moved closer to me.

I found it very relaxing to watch the slow movements of the animals. Some of the older cows approached us wanting to be scratched and petted. I was happy to oblige.

We took lots of photos until the sun got too low and it was time to come home to blip.

EDIT: the calves are only two to four weeks old, not months.
