The Otherwise Empty Beach

9.5C with a dull dry start, then smir, then rain. Moderate breeze increasing in the afternoon. Wind to 29 mph with gusts to 39 mph.

Busy, busy, busy at home today. Not much time for walking and blip hunting at all.Dreich day. Result ... bland blip.

Maeve and I went for a walk before lunch to avoid the forecast rain. There was smir. No Nano today. Just a 2 mile loop down to the shore road and round the main road and back home. We did go over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach to see what the sea looked like. The tide was almost fully in. The rocks just offshore were almost all underwater. There was one dog walker wandering along the otherwise empty beach with a tiny little dog.
