Trastevere

Last day in Rome - quite depressing! I've seen so much, but there's a lot left so I guess I'll have to come back!

Went to the Trastevere area today and visited the Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. This mosaic is stunning, and it is the oldest church dedicated to Mary in Rome.

The rest of the area is really buzzy and fun - I would like to spend more time here next time.
