Kitchen Cove, noon, 6.02.16

All a bit unremarkable down at the saturday morning visit to Kitchen Cove. The wind was howling, rain was threatening and water was gushing down the little boreen into the sea, making rivulets in the mucky sand. If you look closely though there is a Great Northern Diver serenely floating around - a winter visitor from Iceland. An abandoned lobster pot on the right and the yellow is from the lifebuoy board.

I've been working on the blog, catching up with chores and shortly hope to have a skype with son#2 who's just returned from New Zealand. Himself is making curry and a film might be in the cards. All tranquil.

PS And don't forget Derelict Sunday tomorrow (DS16) - last hosting by notowennewitt then TMLHereAndThere is doing a stint of hosting. Do check out her holy well entry from Mew Zealand, astonishing in many ways!
