Rams in stone

This old lichen covered stone urn was next to the old steps that take you from the Aspinall Mansion House to the upper grounds and beyond to the lion enclosure. We almost missed seeing the rams' heads that decorate the corners. They were beautifully sculpted in the stone.

One of the extras is looking down the steps to the mansion ,and on the horizon is the sea - shrouded in mist I'm afraid.
