Butler sink

This is where I seem to spend a lot of time. The old butler sink came from eBay via the site manager of a school being demolished. He rescued these very practical sinks from the skip. It's very useful for washing eggs and vegetables, and cat bowls and all the other paraphernalia of animal care.

The chilli plants on the window ledge have now died and have been stripped of their mini chillis that ian grew from seed and that were very hot and spicy.

Today the weather was very mild and sunny, and time was spent in the garden weeding and tidying up. Something not usually done this time of year. The chickens are enjoying the apples we stored that have gone rather soft. Still some of them are good enough for us to eat. Spinach and chard growing well and being picked for our consumption. Is this the good life, I asked myself? Well, its not too bad!
