Wisley Butterflies

It was a dull, grey day - but the forecast rain held off and an arranged trip to see the Butterflies at RHS Wisley near Guildford took place.  Seven of us turned up and headed into the tropical atmosphere of the iconic glasshouse. Some minutes later we were impatiently waiting for our cameras  to acclimatise and stop steaming up and busy stripping off layers of outer clothing.  Eventually it was all systems go and the next hour or so was spent dodging toddlers and adults, with the inevitable iPhones, in the hunt for that elusive butterfly picture.

Finally, we emerged into the blissfully cool air, and headed to the resturant for a much needed afternnoon tea and a good natter!   Thanks to Gill, Trevor, Mike, Jane, James and June (who arranged it) for another great day out with the SLPH group.
