Overloaded

Saturday is a popular market day for those who live out of town. Many come to stock up on fruit and produce, like this truck driver shown here. I can't imagine this mound of crates and boxes is all for him, but perhaps he has a large family (as many in Mexico tend to have), so it is possible this is just for him. More likely is that he runs a tienda in a neighboring community and these products will soon be for sale elsewhere. I saw at least three vehicles loaded down like this, but his was the most overloaded. I am glad I can go to the market every other day and leave with just a backpack full of fresh produce rather than an overfilled pickup.
