S drove us up to The Foundry at Sheffield, but we found that there was a bouldering competition going on which would have meant that there was very little room for us to belay... so we tossed up between Awesome Walls and Climbing Works and decided on the latter because neither of us had been there before.

Climbing Works is just for bouldering, with no roped routes, and it took a little while to get used to it.  When you're as used to the style of routes and setting as I am to that at The Climbing Unit in Derby, anywhere else is rather out of my comfort zone - everything's different.  But we wore our fingers to the bone, went back to Derby and had an Indian take-away with the Six Nations.

These magazines were covered in dust on the windowsill, I think they were for people to read while taking a break.
