Together at last

They arrived safely ay 7:20 am, and we were at the airport to meet them,  although we had told them that we would send a taxi for them. Our son wasn't at all surprised, in fact he said he would have been more amazed if we hadn't been there!
They had felt the large earthquake tremor in Taipei before they left, but it was quite near to where our daughter in law's family live further south in Taiwan. They had to leave their home when they felt it, as it was quite bad there.
None of them had slept much in the 12 hours or so since leaving home, so we had a relatively easy day by the pool, and then we used the hotel's shuttle to go to their private beach for lunch and chilling and sandcastles.
This is our 2 year old grandson, Beck at breakfast as soon as they arrived, so totally  tired out. The extras are his 6 year old brother Kai (who lost another tooth on the flight over), Granddad pointing out something vitally important in the pool, and sandcastle time. I've dreamt of this for a year.
