Born extrovert

This guy comes from New York.  
He is an extrovert and is rarely seen without a drink in his hand.
 
Meanwhile I have watched a Jamaican canoeist, Michael, (see extra photo) ply his trade selling seashells to passing swimmers all week.
Today I bought one from him after some perfunctory bargaining.

It’s a queen conch (Lobatus gigas), from Trinidad & Tobago.
   
Michael is fifty-one years of age though he looks much older because the sea and sun have etched deep lines in his face and he has lost a lot of teeth. This has been his only job since he was 15 years of age and he buys his shells from divers. 
 
PS. Late info:
  Just learnt that the reference on the guy's shirt has 
SYRACUSE on the front. And the orange refers to the Syracuse college football team in New York.
So this guy is a college football supporter...and tonight is Super Bowl final, which explains why our restaurant emptied sharpish and everyone retreated ( not us!) to watch the game on a large outdoor scene on the rooftop.
