New nesting box.

When I moved in, there was a homemade bird house in the garden.

I suspected that it was almost as old as the house, so I made a note to strip it down this summer and do it up.

The last storm ripped the roof off and last week the remainder of it was blown apart.

I like the idea of being able to watch birds in my garden, so rather than attempt to make a dmsll bird nesting box, I bought this pre cut kit.

I am so excited to think that I could have a family of birds in there.

I may wait for the winds to pass though before I put it up.
