So that's War and Peace finished and I would consider buying the DVD, depending on the price.  When I was in Waterstons on Saturday I had a quick look at the book and it didn't seem too huge, for a split second I thought I might even buy it and attempt to read it.  Then I had a look at the type inside the covers, tiny!  I will content myself in this case to just watching it on TV.
As you can see from the photo we actually had some sunshine today.
