Love & Loss

Bad news arrived last night.
An ex-colleague, eine Blipperin and I-wish-I'd-known-her-better friend died.
 
It was not expected.

I feel really sad for her family. 

Because Shiv really lived for her family.  And to have that force of nature removed from you must be very hard.  There is no replacement.  My thoughts are with Mr S & the Weegie clan.

Shiv knew what was important - and it wasn't work.

I cried. 

Sometimes that's all that helps. 

Let it out.

I know that Life is short & brutal, but it is also filled with the most wonderful people.

And some large cats.
