Vessel 11

Lightvessel No.11 was a floating lighthouse that was in service in the Irish Sea between 1951 and 1988 when she retired.

She was towed to Rotterdam in 1995 where she was moored in the wijnhaven - a maritime museum area with many historic ships - to honor Rotterdam's harbor status as gateway to Europe.

The last years it served as a Spanish / Portuguese restaurant called Tinto, but currently it's called 'Vessel 11' and has become an English restaurant.

I shot her before as you can see in this link.

Bonne Appetit, eh… sorry… Enjoy your meal!

Thanks for visiting my daily journal!
