198

Two 99s anyhow.

More ice cream. More biting of thumbs at the weather. Drizzle? Thhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp.

We'd stopped off for a wander around King's Park in Stirling and watched a bit of tennis at the free-for-all tennis courts down there. That Andy Murray has a lot to answer for - the place was quite literally bouncing despite the weather and there were queues of people waiting to pounce on any deserted court. Laughed at one grumpy chap who was getting severely pissed off at a couple of kids who, in his opinion, were hogging a court and had been on there for hours. They were playing a good game too and I hope they played on as long as they had the energy to do so; at least they have more a chance at reaching Wimbledon than baldy auld crabbit drawers does.

Popped my Subway cherry afterwards. Never been in one up until today. Obviously everyone else in line had been as they all rhymed off complicated instructions to the unenthusiastic staff over the counter. Bluffed my way through the process (with some help from Euan who had been in before) and ended up with some strange but edible combination in a six inch hunk of bread.

Should have saved my dignity as well as a couple of pound and just got a Pot Noodle from here.
