Chimneys

M and I went for a circular walk around Holkham Nature reserve today.  The walk starts between marshes where widgeon were whistling and the burbling call of curlews could be heard.  Then past a pond where a pair of dabchicks kept disappearing under the water and popping up again in a different spot.  Then through undulating pine woods and finally out onto the dunes and beach (see extra).
However, as it's Abstract Thursday I thought I would blip these beautiful (tudor, I think) chimneys which grace the roof of a cottage within the grounds of Holkam's estate.  Such beautiful and intricate brickwork, such a shame these crafts are rarely used today.
