'Swanston Square'

This is a partial detail shot of one corner of the Swanston Square apartments on Swanston Street in the City.

The sculptured facade panels stand 32 storeys high and represents an image of William Barak, a Wurundjeri Tribe elder who was instrumental in bridging the gap between black and white Australians.

Spent the morning out at La Trobe University doing a measure up, meeting with a builder and project manager, then looking at a couple of future projects coming up for us.

Tonight was the inaugural School Community Picnic up on the oval at the kids school. The weather was perfect and the highlight was an all in soccer match, kids versus parents. I can tell you that there will be a few aching bodies tomorrow morning, probably me included. A fun start to the weekend.
