Wound up in Wexford

Isle of Dogs, again

I had another opportunity to wander around the Isle of Dogs this morning, whilst W continued running his training course.

I love the way that bits of "stuff" are preserved, in amongst the more modern buildings.  Most, including this engine, are unlabelled.  Google research tells us this is an old hydraulic pump; I found two conflicting suggestions on its original use - possibly for raising Surrey dock gates, or possibly for grain handling.  Behind it is a mill chimney - again, no information plaque, but Google tells me it is the remains of a refuse incinerator.
