Squirrel Blip Friday - Frozen Long Weekend Edition

For this Squirrel blip Friday I thought it might be hard finding a squirrel tonight with the extreme cold coming, it had not arrived yet when I was finished work and it was only -5C. The cold front has now passed by and it will go down to -23C overnight. When I was down in the park there must have been 5 or squirrels all eager to get a peanut before hiding in there nest for the next day or so to ride out the cold.

For us lucky humans we get a long weekend that will be filled with lots to do but to cold to want to go out and do anything. The Family day long weekend was only created a few years ago here in Ontario but is certainly welcome even in the cold.
