Old MiniDisc Player

More of my defunct technology. This time a 1994 Sony MiniDisc player. I got it for Christmas 1994, it seemed so very very expensive at the time and I didn't want to take it out of the house! I used it ostensibly to record radio programs, it seemed pretty mundane stuff on the face of it, but a collection of mid-nineties radio recordings today has a certain nostalgia! Afraid it doesn't work, and can't play many later minidiscs which used MP3 codec to compress audio. This is an original.
