A6 River Soar Flood Plain Concrete

A super evening 'fishing' with Ian Nutt around the A6 near Mountsorrel in Leicestershire. The River Soar runs through this area, this hinterland between Loughborough and Leicester, so the ground is rather waterlogged at the moment. We got very wet having walked through water which ended up being above our boots. This concrete very much appealed to us, its a portal frame structure which allows water to flow beneath the embankment of the road.
