If you can't beat them...

Norfolk Island

This afternoon we had a run down to the Lake.  Most of the lay-byes were full so we sent along to falling rocks where there is generally room to park.  Those of you of a certain age may remember an advert for milk tray where the "hero" jumps of a cliff onto a moving lorry - that was at falling rocks (so named because of the road sign warning of ....).

We spent a very pleasant afternoon taking shots of moving water and lake views in general.  I decided to use this shot of Norfolk Island because it was from a slightly different angle and I don't think I have blipped it before.

As we were preparing to leave a man was launching his canadian canoe and "paddled" away in a style I have never seen used before.  He stood in the canoe and instead of the conventional single bladed paddle he used an aluminium pole (with no blades) stroking in the water at each side of the canoe.  Most odd.
