DellCon6 - and a game of Evo, a game where dinosaurs complete on a small island to see which is the most successful before the meteor hits and ends the game (after a set number of turns.

Everyone starts of with the same set of genes, then bids for new ones out of a limited gene pool.  More legs give you more movement; fur for tolerance to cold in the varying climate; parasols represent tolerance to heat;  horns for combat when things get tight; eggs for improved birthrate; etc.

Sometimes the genetic assembly of the animal gets a bit unorthodox.
