Up in the Mountains

After a morning pottering around the charming cobbled, streets of Frigilania with its colourful doors and plant filled courtyards, it was good to take a hike into the National Park, along a river bed and through pine woods to the open limestone landscape with views of the peaks. On our return to the village we arrived just as a local carnival procession was starting, what an amazing effort the participants had made, it was a colourful site indeed.
