The wind had covered the tracks of yesterday's runners so, on a somewhat better day, it was hard going on some sections when I ran up from home and did the Carnethy 5 route. But I did get the thrill of being the first person up South Black Hill [leftmost hill and first extra] today. I thought it was going to cloud over before I got back, but it cleared again. There were lots of folk out [winding their way up Scald Law in the third extra] and I met a colleague on top of West Kip.

Had a good afternoon, too, as just Mme A and I wandered round town, taking in the "hands-on" activities and a couple of exhibitions at the Scottish National Gallery Academy Building.
