Bread Making

The bread making day was just so good! Friend missed the whole morning as was too tired, but was brought over at lunchtime ready for the Pizzas! However we all enjoyed the experience and had an awful lot of laughs, the group leader knew several of us already and as we were a group of friends the only thing she had to try and do was reign us in now and again! Only downside was having to wash sticky dough off my hands so I could take photographs! We made Ciabatta, Potato and Rosemary Flower Pot Loafs and a Malted Fruit Loaf! Plus freshly baked Pizzas for lunch which took under 90 seconds to cook! The oven was as hot as it could be, at the temperature at which aluminium melts as they had found out to their cost when they had previously  tried cooking on one! Once the Pizza's were done the hot coals were raked out, the inside cleaned with a wet mop and brushed, then both doors left open until the walls, roof and floor registered the right temperature on his hand held temperature measurer, so that neither tops, bottoms or sides would be burnt! The guy told me all about the making and operation of the oven and showed me the roof where the local cats liked to sleep on top of the warm  insulation chips!
Once home I was pleasantly tired and there was no way I was going to get through processing all the photos. and the following day ( sunday!) I got sidetracked playing in Lightroom watching a video about processing in B&W for the #ayearwithmycamera assignment! With mixed success but again a lot of fun!
The whole day is here if you are interested in bread and fires and dodgy photos! I have not culled the album yet as got todays ( mondays!) photos to do!
