Knightsbridge venue

A visit to the Royal Thames Yacht Club today which is reputed to be the oldest yacht club in the world.
Though it is based in the heart of London in Knightsbridge, it enjoys an active range of sailing activities, much of it on the Solent.
The club itself has been in existence more than 240 years.
Purpose of my visit today was for a committee meeting of the Yachting Journalists' Association which represents around 250 journalists involved in the leisure sailing world, and including writers, photographers, authors, broadcasters and film makers.
It's not my first visit to the Knightsbridge clubhouse, but it's always a joy to return.
