DESIGNED OBSOLESCENCE...

...bought a new espresso machine today.

The old one succeeded in dying about a month after the guarantee expired - absolutely brilliantly designed obsolescence!!

This one cost half what I paid for the old one - but having examined it in depth - am convinced this one will outlive its guarantee date by a decade :o) Oh yes! The instructions are ten times simpler & it already makes much better coffee - bit of a coffee snob, me...

On my way home with my new prize I spotted these (extra) squaddies in their flack jackets on surveillance in the Metro - so it goes...
