Changes in Queen Street

Dw i'n cadw fy mhenderfyniad i fynd i'r dre o dro i dro, yn arbennig i ymweld â'r arcedau. Roedd e'n ddiddorol i gerdded o gwmpas y dre dros amser cinio.  Dw i'n cofio'r amser pryd roedd Stryd y Frenhines yn llawn gyda cheir.  Mae'n anodd dychmygu nawr. Dw i'n cofio hefyd pryd roedd symbol y ddraig uwchben Boots yn newydd, ond mae'n dechrau edrych yn hen nawr.  Es i i Costa ar fy ffordd yn ôl i'r gwaith.  Roedd y rheolwraig yna yn gwisgo lanyard 'Iaith Gwaith', felly archebais i fy nghoffi yn Gymraeg. Mae'n neis iawn cael siawns i ddefnyddio Cymraeg 'yn y byd go iawn'.

I'm keeping my resolution to go to town from time to time, especially to visit the arcades. It was interesting to walk around town at lunchtime. I remember the time when Queen Street was full with cars. It's hard to imagine now. I also remember when it was symbol of the dragon above Boots was new, but it is now starting to look old. I went to Costa on my way back to work. The manager there was wearing a 'Working Welsh' lanyard so I ordered my coffee in Welsh. It's really nice having a chance to use Welsh 'in the real world'.
