Male Hooded Merganser

I thought hard about which photo to choose today. It was between this fellow I spotted in Scudder Pond this afternoon as I walked in the park, and the extra of the light patterns streaming in the living room window. Finally decided on this one. These mergansers are such handsome birds.

Today I worked on my photos and took a long walk in the park. Arvin and I got hair cuts when he got home from his little group.

I learned of two deaths today and another person whose spouse had a seizure while they were traveling. It seems this kind of news happens in clusters. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends of these three people.
