Labyrinth

I have waited a little too long to publish this entry. My head is muddled by jet lag and I have spent much too much time trying to wean myself from the iPhone format to the home computer. However, I have at last succeeded (I think) and should be able to do much better in future. I think it is a testament to my commitment to blipping (thank you, Lady Findhorn) that I have been able to refrain from throwing the computer out the window. A friend has said that "sharing a computer is a recipe for disaster" and I am inclined to agree with him as my husband comes in every five minutes to see if I have finished yet! Said friend has offered to help me buy a new computer for myself and I believe I will take him up on the offer.

My blip for today was taken in a nearby regional park where I frequently walk with Ozzzie. The park is in a volcanic area and the labyrinth is in the bottom of an old quarry. It is no easy feat to climb down there yet the labyrinth remains. Since the quarry often fills with water in the winter tending the site is an ongoing task performed anonymously. One can only speculate as to the motivation....However, I have scrambled down there myself on occasion and can attest to the calming effects of walking the labyrinth. Perhaps it is all the more soothing for the effort involved in getting there.
