Storm on the Way

Finally. The two palm trees across the street are putting on a show, waving and rustling and swaying in the blasts of wind. The awning over the deck door makes alarming sounds as it thumps up and down--something's loose again. The sky changes as fast as you can look at it, dark and dramatic, constantly moving. Actual rain is slow in appearing; we're hoping, of course, for overflowing barrels. The lights flicker. Time to send this.
