Dave Lush replacing windows in Lansdown Hall

I went to Lansdown Hall as the council's media person had coordinated a photo call to publicise the replacement of the windows.  Dave is a renowned specialist and mostly works in churches and cathedrals replacing the old glass windows and their stone frames.  We have been lucky to employ him to supply a set of five windows looking over Bank Gardens and he is nearly finished.  We hope he will return to do the remaining windows on the other side of the building, once we have raised another tranche of money from grants to match what the council can pay. This is the latest in the ongoing regeneration works the council is organising for the Hall, which is the community hall for Stroud.  I have been the chair of the council's working group which has overseen all the varied work for the last five years.  I am considering my future!
