Life though my lens

A Beacon Of Light

To finish our time in the Catlins we headed to Nugget Point, a wind and wave carved point of land which has receded leaving only stumps of land behind. These 'nuggets' are watched over by an 18th century lighthouse which warns ships of the danger. The nuggets are also home to several colonies of sealions, which you could see playing in the water and sunning on the rocks below.

We then proceeded to Dunedin, 'The Edinburgh' of New Zealand. Stuart and I both enjoyed exploring the quaint city, taking stops at the local cathedral, the central octagon, the stunningly designed train station, cadbury world and Stuart Street.
