" JUST THE TWO OF US "

Whilst we were over in Hampshire, we dropped in to see Mr A's Mum who will be 91 on 24 February.  She is amazing and an inspiration to us all.  There wasn't one piece of dust and everything was tidy.  I think you will agree they are alike.

We wanted to also see our eldest son but didn't want to upset him so after giving Mum her Christmas presents and the lamp for her birthday (which she loved, and I breathed a sigh of relief), we set off back on the road to travel the 220 miles. 

The traffic was heavy, especially around Stonehenge, but we expected that.  The rain hammered down as we got back into Cornwall.  It had been gloriously sunny in Hampshire!  Oh well, so it took 4 hours of hard driving.

So we are home.  Phoebe is glad to have the cats back and now seems happier.

Enjoy the weekend everyone and a big thankyou to my little sister Redflash for housing us for the night after the amazing concert.  A birthday never to forget.
