My Scenic View

Day two in Buenos Aires.  Most of the ships' passengers disembarked this morning, and new people boarded this afternoon.

Because of the "Code Red" GI infestation we had on the last leg, we were required to vacate our cabin from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. today so that the ship could be thoroughly cleaned. We booked a river cruise of the Tigre Delta so as to be entertained during the cleaning.  Sadly, it turned out to be a glorified tender ride ... the boat was enclosed, and by the time the other passengers had pushed their way in front of us, the only seats left were apart from each other, and way in the back.  This image shows very accurately my "view" at the inside end of a row of three seats.  When we returned to the Mariner at 1:30 p.m., we were told we could not return to our suite, but had to remain in the public areas "for a little while longer."  "A little while longer" meant until almost 5:00 p.m.!!!!  I hope this is not a hint as to how the rest of this leg of the cruise will go ...
