Mono Monday - Ancestors - mm109

Foggy and damp outside, so perfect for looking at old family photos for this weeks Mono Monday theme of Ancestors.
This is one of my favourite photos of my Dad, he's on the left with the axe and macaw. A very strange combination but who knows what was going on in this shot. He was a carpenter/builder and it looks like a building site, so maybe it was at their 10 o'clock break.  Sadly my Dad died not long after TheAphid was born, fortunately I have lots of happy memories of him and a few photos.
