Common Tern Sterna hirundo

Thanks to Old Bat I was made aware of a small common tern colony at Port Edgar. I went along today to check it out and spent an enjoyable couple of hours there.

Unfortunately, the distance put the birds at the limit of my camera's capabilities so this was about the best that I managed.
