Water...Cool Water

With the temperature predicted to be 32c today Maisie and I drove to the Taylor Dam earlier this morning. The water in the lake looked so cool and inviting. The lake is unsuitable for swimming but there is one tiny area where it is safe to paddle. And paddle we did. Maisie had walked in some mud half-way up her legs. So she needed a session of active paddling to clean her up and cool her down.
She met another dog called Maisie at the lake and they spent a riotous time chasing each other. Simple pleasures.....
