First Coat

Two new panels on our garage door were white and now have received the first coat of a matching paint job.

Starting at 5 am while temperatures were mild and with no direct sunlight, the first coat took about an hour.

Two surprises cropped up. First, the bottom two panels only required ½ pint of paint. This is good news because we were supplied with one pint of the various colors as new homeowners. This means that enough paint remains for a second coat.

Secondly, the paint was still good after six years stored in our garage. Hooray!
