Lenticular cloud

I was out and about again this morning,it is the last day of the school holidays. It has been great having my granddaughter staying or few days. She is 12 in a couple of weeks so is good company. She and Elsa really get along. On our way out I was noticing our superb cloud cover over us. It is nor'west cloud- always really interesting with many layers happening. Lenticular clouds (Altocumulus lenticularis) are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, normally aligned perpendicular to the wind direction. I think this is a good example of these.
