Iced

What lies below?

captive chilled,
encased beneath
glazed, and furrowed
once watery sheath
shapes formed by
shivering wave blown winds,
bitter whistling breath built ridges,
icy frozen fractals frigid
under wavy solid splashes
lies last season’s leaf

For the Record,
This day came in clear and cold.

All hands healing

This young woman sang at our wedding. We're so proud of her, I've known her since she was a baby.
