Alcaudete, Jaen, Andalucia, Spain

Alcaudete is a small olive growing town of 11, 000 people. This is the Moorish castle built around 12th century, which can be seen for miles as any visitor approaches the town.

We arrived in torrential rain this afternoon so a Blip of the castle in daylight was impossible. I promise better in the days to come.

We have just spent a lovely evening with friends who live here all the time. I haven't been here for two years so I am looking forward to visiting some of my favourite places in the area and sharing them with you.
